Wether its privacy, heat reduction, UV protection, safety or decrotive, we have the film to do the job.

Silver Reflective

Silver Reflective Films are the most versatile films and offer great value. They offer fantastic heat reduction and privacy while preventing expensive items inside the building from fading.

Advantages:

  • High heat reduction.
  • Great for privacy.

  • The film reflects heat causing minimal heat absorption on the glass pane reducing the risk of thermal stress.

  • Looks good on silver, brown, black and white window frames.

  • 99% UV protection will prolong the life of your furniture, floors, curtains, merchandise etc.

  • Cost effective.

Disadvantages

  • Some building complexes do not allow films with reflective / mirror like finishes.

  • At night the reflection of the film reverses if the lights in the building are on, creating less privacy.

Nano Ceramic Films (Non Reflective)

Nano Ceramic Films are fantastic heat reduction films that have no reflective / mirror look to them. They allow you to keep your view and natural light while reducing heat. These films absorb heat has the solar rays make contact with the glass pane.

Advantages:

  • High heat reduction.

  • The Crystal and Heat Shield films allow in the natural light, and you will hardly know that the window has film on it.

  • The HP Grey films will enhance privacy

  • No mirror / reflective look.

  • Looks good on silver, brown, black and white window frames.

  • 99% UV protection will prolong the life of your furniture, floors, curtains, merchandise etc.

  • The HP Grey films are very cost effective.

Disadvantages

  • The Nano Ceramic films absorb and retain heat which will cause the glass pain to heat up.

  • If you have PVB glass or laminated safety glass where the edges are not properly polished and therefore could have fine cracks in them, the window could crack from thermal stress when using the Heat Shield film.

  • The Heat Shield film cannot be fitted on a single window that is larger than 4 SQM due to thermal stress.

  • In this case rather opt for Crystal 75 , Silver 50 or Sterling 50.

Metalized Sputter Film

Metalized Films contain microscopic metal particles in the polyester that reflect heat away from the glass without having a strong reflective / mirror like appearance. Because the heat is reflected (and not absorbed) there is a very low risk of thermal stress on the glass pane. The window panes don’t carry as much heat as nano ceramic films which improves the heat reduction even further.

Advantages:

  • High heat reduction.

  • Allows 50% of the natural light inside the building.

  • Can be used on PBV glass and laminated safety glass

  • Low mirror / reflective look.

  • Looks good on silver, brown, black and white window frames.

  • 99% UV protection will prolong the life of your furniture, floors, curtains, merchandise etc.

  • Lasts for 10 years.

  • Low thermal stress no large glass window panes.

Disadvantages

  • More expensive than other reflective films.

  • A more cost-effective alternative can be Silver 50

  • Has a slight reflective / mirror appearance.

Non Reflective 2 Ply Films

Non-Reflective (NR) Black films are designed for privacy, glare reduction, safety and protecting building contents from getting damaged from UV rays.
The NR films only reduce 11% of heat though, so if you are looking for a non-reflective heat reduction film then rather look at our Nano Ceramic range.
Whether you choose a very dark film, or a clear film, the heat reduction will remain the same..

Advantages:

  • Great for privacy and glare reduction depending on the shade that you choose.

  • Good variety which ranges from dark to light.

  • They are safe to put on any type of glass including PVB and laminated safety glass.

  • No mirror / reflective look.

  • Looks good on all window frames

  • 99% UV protection will prolong the life of your furniture, floors, curtains, merchandise etc.

  • The 100 – 150-micron films can add an extra barrier of safety especially if a child runs through a glass door.

  • Even the clear films have 98% UV reduction which can preserve contents behind the glass from UV damage and fading while allowing in the natural light.

  • During the day the 5%, 15% and 20% films can be used as a 1-way privacy film.

  • The 2ply / micron films are very cost effective

Disadvantages

  • Very low heat reduction.

Decorative Films

Decorative Films are mainly used for interiors although the colour reflective films can be used for solar heat reduction too.

Advantages:

  • Great for privacy.

  • The black out and white out films can be used for complete privacy and glare reduction.

  • The white matte is ideal for bathrooms, showers and boardrooms.

  • White Matte and White Out are both printable films.

  • The white out can be fitted to glass to enable the glass to double as a white board marker.

  • The frosted squares and frosted lines can save time and money when installing because the shapes are imbedded into the films. These can really modernise your office.

  • 85% – 99% UV protection will prolong the life of your furniture, floors, curtains, merchandise etc.

  • Cost effective.

Disadvantages

  • The Black Out film attracts a lot of heat and can cause thermal stress cracking if fitted to a large window that receives a lot of direct sunlight.

  • The Frosted Squares and lines only reduce 85% of UV rays.

Colour Refelctive Film

Colour Reflective Films are unique yet versatile films and offer great value. Enjoy fantastic heat reduction and privacy while standing out.

Advantages:

  • High heat reduction.

  • Good for privacy.

  • The Chocolate and charcoal films look great on black, brown and white window frames.

  • The film reflects heat causing minimal heat absorption on the glass pane reducing the risk of thermal stress and cracking on glass.

  • Great for brand identification or standing out.

  • 99% UV protection will prolong the life of your furniture, floors, curtains, merchandise etc.

  • Cost effective.

  • The Grey Reflective 5% is a dual reflective film which means it does not have a reverse internal mirror / silver appearance at night.

Disadvantages

  • Some building complexes do not allow films with reflective / mirror like finishes.

  • At night the reflection of the film reverses if the lights in the building are on, creating less privacy.
